LATAM Data Lead - Remote

Overview

As the Regional Data Lead for LATAM, you’ll be the first dedicated analytics voice for this region—shaping how we understand our users, measure what matters, and build a data-informed growth strategy that connects our local markets with our global product teams.

In Short

• Build the Data Foundation for LATAM by designing and building dashboards from scratch.
• Own LATAM Data Strategy End-to-End, defining how success is tracked across the region.
• Partner with local, regional, and central teams, ensuring a two-way flow of insights.
• Craft clear, actionable narratives using data to inspire action.
• Proactively identify growth bottlenecks and user behavior shifts.
• Support product initiatives by measuring new feature performance and local experiments.

Requirements

• Strong SQL and data wrangling skills with large datasets.
• Familiarity with Canva’s data stack (Looker, Snowflake, Mode, Netspring).
• Experience building dashboards and tracking frameworks.
• Ability to define and track key metrics across the user journey.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams using data to influence decisions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI to drive impact.
• Experience working in or analyzing LATAM markets.
• Understanding of mobile analytics and behavioral funnels.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
