The Senior Partner Manager, Americas Channel role at Canonical involves developing and executing channel strategies to grow business through reseller and distributor partners in the Americas.

In Short

  • Develop and execute channel strategy for distributors and resellers.
  • Increase awareness of Canonical in Open Source and Cloud.
  • Identify and recruit new partners.
  • Engage new partners and build relationships.
  • Guide partners through onboarding and enablement.
  • Develop go-to-market plans with partners.
  • Arrange sales training for resellers.
  • Manage channel pipeline through partner interactions.
  • Support partner satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain regular contact with priority resellers and distributors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in technology.
  • Experience in software or technology sales.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Understanding of open source, Linux, and Ubuntu.
  • Track record with US Public sector channel partners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
  • Effective negotiating skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-discipline and self-motivation in a distributed team.
  • Ability to represent the company at external events.
