Overview

The Account Manager position is responsible for creating and executing regional or account specific sales plans that meet or exceed established sales quotas and support company revenue and profit targets. You will play a critical role in building our team and building sales for these key customers. If you love selling and building relationships, this could be the role for you!

In Short

  • Location: Remote but must be local to Seattle, WA or within driving distance of the ACI Portland office
  • Salary range $75,000 - $85,000 based on experience, qualifications, and skills
  • Minimal overnight travel required (less than 10%)
  • Build long-term, productive relationships with existing and new customers
  • Meet regularly with existing customers to understand their evolving business needs
  • Work effectively with internal departments to assure elite management of our clients
  • Attend required national trade shows and sales meetings
  • Guide clients through the total distribution process
  • Coordinate and prepare clients for top-to-top meetings
  • Assume responsibility in selling the mission and vision of the organization

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the consumer products industry (specifically food products)
  • Mid/strong level of knowledge of independent grocery retailers
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree, and/or similar industry experience
  • Proficient with all necessary computer-based programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
