Field Service Engineer, Ultrasound - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Engineer for Ultrasound will provide escalated onsite support for premium ultrasound imaging products in tier one hospital networks, representing Samsung as a subject matter expert.

In Short

• Provide technical support for ultrasound imaging products.
• Build relationships with hospital staff and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage escalated technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Participate in sales processes for new systems and service contracts.
• Travel primarily within Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina.
• Supervise and train less experienced staff.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and manage repair cycles.
• Stay updated with product changes and specifications.
• Prepare monthly reports on technical issues and resolutions.
• Work independently and manage time effectively.

Requirements

• Technical degree in electrical or software engineering preferred.
• 10+ years of field service experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound hardware and software.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Experience with mechanical devices and computer networking.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Must comply with hospital credentialing requirements.
• Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record required.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
