Senior Counsel, Commercial - Remote

In Short

• Partner closely with internal teams to address and resolve contractual matters.
• Review, draft, revise, negotiate and advise on key business contracts.
• Support mergers and acquisitions and other strategic corporate development transactions.
• Help define procedures and practices within Legal for efficient workflows.
• Proactively identify, analyze and mitigate risks.
• Partner with external counsel as necessary.

Requirements

• JD/law degree and bar admission in the UK or at least one U.S. state.
• 8+ years overall relevant experience, including law firm and in-house experience.
• Cross-border transactions, emerging markets and technology experience are a plus.
• Proven high-performing legal experience and ability to lead contractual matters.
• Ability to work well under pressure and provide practical, business-friendly advice.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse and complex workload.
• First class interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solutions oriented and business minded.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
