Staff Software Engineer, Image Operations - Remote

Overview

The Staff Software Engineer for Image Operations will be responsible for developing and maintaining the image processing pipeline at BlackSky, a leader in real-time intelligence and satellite imagery.

In Short

• Design and implement new features for the image processing system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in processing geospatial imagery.
• Expertise in Python and asyncio.
• Experience with AWS and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be a US-born citizen.
