Overview

Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office. Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications. To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

In Short

• Lead the development and enhancement of Cohere’s integrations platform.
• Design and implement reusable integration patterns to minimize custom development.
• Drive improvements in the platform to reduce engineering time and manual intervention.
• Provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Integration Ops, product teams, and solutions architects.
• Continuously improve the platform’s performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare security and privacy regulations.
• Contribute to agile development practices and sprint planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable integrations platforms.
• Deep experience in designing integration platforms for high-volume data streams.
• Expertise in Java (Spring), Kafka, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards (HIPAA, FHIR).
• Commitment to high-quality code and development practices.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve platform issues.
