RN Supervisor, Clinical Operations - Remote

Overview

The RN Supervisor, Clinical Operations position is a crucial role in our organization responsible for coaching, mentoring, evaluating, and developing the RN Reviewer team, ensuring operational objectives and performance metrics are met.

In Short

• Oversee the RN Reviewer team including one RN Team Lead.
• Establish daily operational plans and communicate to all staff.
• Manage daily timeliness reports and ensure expected turnaround times.
• Monitor nurse productivity reports and provide performance feedback.
• Lead weekly team meetings.
• Capture process efficiency ideas and recommend changes.
• Meet with direct reports bi-weekly for performance feedback.
• Track hourly nurse productivity and keep management informed.
• Train and develop new RNs.
• Oversee daily newsletter publication.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with an active license.
• 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of NCQA/CMS requirements.
• Experience with MCG and clinical criteria guidelines.
• Prior Authorization or Utilization Management experience.
• Excellent computer skills, familiarity with Mac.
• Experience supervising in a remote work environment.
• Ability to cover evening shifts (up to 8pm EST).
