BlackSky is seeking a skilled Senior Technical Writer to lead the creation of compelling, compliant customer-facing proposals and support capture efforts across defense and intelligence customers globally.

• Lead writer for proposals and technical documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of experience in technical writing.
• Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills.
• Experience with government proposals and compliance.
• Knowledge of industry-standard proposal methodologies.
• Ability to create visuals for proposals.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.
• Process improvement mindset.
