Platform Engineer - Azure - Remote

Overview

We are looking for hands-on platform engineers with deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem to join delivery teams working on some of the most exciting digital programmes around, with clients in a range of industries.

In Short

• Design, build and maintain delivery infrastructure, systems and processes.
• Lead the adoption of modern platforms and ways of working.
• Work in small product teams alongside developers, architects, designers, analysts and product owners.
• Deliver automation, tooling and cloud infrastructure.
• Encourage continuous learning and obtain Azure certifications.
• Commercial experience in designing, deploying and managing cloud environments in Azure.
• Experience with containers and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and ARM Templates.
• Experience with pipeline build/deploy tools such as Azure DevOps.
• In-depth automation and scripting using tools like PowerShell and Python.

Requirements

• Expertise in Azure delivery platform.
• Experience with configuration management technologies.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of cloud platform design patterns.
• Familiarity with common database and caching technologies.
• Exposure to iterative/agile development methodologies.
• Bonus: experience with other cloud platforms.
