Platform Engineer - Azure - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for hands-on platform engineers with deep understanding of the Azure ecosystem to join delivery teams working on some of the most exciting digital programmes around, with clients in a range of industries.

In Short

• Design, build and maintain delivery infrastructure and systems.
• Work in small product teams alongside developers, architects, and product owners.
• Deliver automation, tooling, and cloud infrastructure.
• Encourage continuous learning and obtain Azure certifications.
• Lead the definition and support of the Azure delivery platform.
• Commercial experience in designing and managing cloud environments in Azure.
• Experience with containers and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with pipeline build/deploy tools such as Azure DevOps.
• In-depth automation and scripting experience.

Requirements

• Expertise in Azure ecosystem.
• Experience with configuration management technologies.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platform design patterns.
• Understanding of common database technologies.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies.
• Bonus: experience with other cloud platforms.
