Platform Engineer - Azure - Remote

In Short

• Design, build and maintain delivery infrastructure, systems and processes.
• Work with Azure ecosystem in delivery teams.
• Deliver automation, tooling and cloud infrastructure.
• Encourage continuous learning and obtain Azure certifications.
• Lead the definition and support of the Azure delivery platform.
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams on client site.
• Commercial experience in cloud environments.
• Experience with containers and orchestration.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience designing, deploying and managing Azure environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
• Knowledge of Terraform, ARM Templates, Helm, or Pulumi.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, TFS, or Jenkins.
• Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, AZ CLI, Python, Bash, Ruby, or Groovy.
• Knowledge of configuration management technologies.
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of cloud platform design patterns.
• Knowledge of database and caching technologies.
• Some knowledge of programming languages.
