Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Bitcoin Depot is seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for carrying out tasks of a broad and complex nature, determining how to record items for P&L and balance sheet activity, and performing analysis and reporting of financial results.

In Short

• Assist with annual audits and provide requested information to our auditors
• Assist in month-end close including account analysis and preparing ad-hoc reports
• Lead the monthly rent payment processes for all store owners
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues and account adjustments
• Weekly and monthly reporting regarding the status of accounts
• Assist with related special projects and other duties as needed
• Identify internal control improvement opportunities

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of overall general accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• SaaS or Technology industry experience preferred
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
