Staff Accountant - Remote

Sorcero's medical AI platform transforms life sciences decision-making, accelerating patient access to life-saving treatments. As a Staff Accountant, you will anchor our day-to-day financial operations during an exciting phase of company growth.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end accounting cycles.
• Execute monthly close procedures.
• Perform variance analyses on monthly results.
• Own the Accounts Payable (AP) process.
• Handle billing and accounts receivable.
• Act as the primary liaison with external Tax and Audit vendors.
• Develop and maintain accounting standards.
• Drive process improvements in accounting initiatives.
• Collaborate with CFO on financial strategies.
• Work in a remote and globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• 10+ years experience in accounts payable and general ledger accounting.
• 2 years experience in an early startup business preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience applying ASC 606 in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent planning and analytical skills.
• QBO certified.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Maxio.
