Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to take ownership of key general ledger functions, ensuring the integrity of our financial records through comprehensive reconciliations and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

In Short

• Take full ownership of the Fixed Asset lifecycle.
• Manage the Insurance Accounting manual.
• Execute month-end close journal entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Conduct reconciliations for Fixed Assets and Insurance accounts.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis to the Finance team.
• Work with diverse functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
