Manager, National Youth Voice - Remote

Overview

The Manager, National Youth Voice is responsible for managing activities, engagement and outcomes for the Big Brothers Big Sisters National Youth Leadership Council, amplifying youth voice nationally and across the BBBS network.

In Short

• Oversee the development and coordination of the National Youth Council.
• Manage recruitment and selection of Youth Council members.
• Support and develop youth leaders.
• Establish learning outcomes for youth participants.
• Serve as a liaison to agency leaders.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person activities.
• Develop service-learning projects for youth involvement.
• Provide training on youth engagement policies.
• Coordinate and support convenings that elevate youth voice.
• Manage the Youth Council’s budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in youth development programs.
• 3+ years in project management.
• Experience managing youth-led experiences.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent team collaboration skills.
• Creative and solution-focused mindset.
