Overview

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) follows the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) by supporting the Senior Director to ensure smooth progress in bringing BBBSA’s organizational projects to life.

In Short

• Manage a portfolio of medium to large-scale projects aligned with BBBSA’s goals.
• Facilitate, coordinate, and manage existing and new projects.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Draft reports for senior leadership.
• Evaluate and analyze project data for stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for project implementation.
• Recruit and develop team members.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational values.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed and documented.
• Manage project risks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification.
• Five or more years of professional leadership experience.
• Advanced project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities.
• Experience in change management.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in a Project Management Office preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Project Management Certification preferred.
