Overview

The Senior Customer Technical Support Specialist, Informatics is responsible for providing technical troubleshooting and consulting to clinical laboratory and IT customers, focusing on middleware and Laboratory Information System (LIS) software.

In Short

  • Provide technical phone support for LIS and middleware software.
  • Work a 4 on 3 off schedule on 3rd shift, 11:00 PM - 8:30 AM ET.
  • Handle customer calls and resolve technical product issues.
  • Document customer interactions and classify complaints.
  • Collaborate with field support when issues cannot be resolved remotely.
  • Analyze data and communicate product issues and improvements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of LIS customization and troubleshooting experience required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology preferred.
  • Remote work arrangement available.
  • Eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with LIS customization and troubleshooting.
  • Previous customer technical support experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Competency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
