Junior Software Development Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Junior Software Development Engineer at Avalara, where you will be responsible for designing and coding parts of our research product in a fully remote setting, specifically for candidates located in Brazil.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of software design experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Python, PHP.
• Ability to analyze problems from different angles.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
