Overview

The Senior Software Development Engineer will lead the development of software solutions for chemists and biologists, extending desktop functionalities into an online platform.

In Short

• Lead development and mentoring in ChemDraw desktop suite.
• Extend desktop functionality into the Signals online environment.
• Work with a variety of programming languages and frameworks.

Requirements

• A degree in Computing, Algorithms, or related subject.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Computing or Life Science industries.
• Proficiency in web development technologies.
• Good knowledge of C, C++, and related IDEs.
• Familiarity with software development on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing approaches.
• Experience in Cheminformatics and/or Bioinformatics is a plus.
• Leadership experience with software teams.
• Experience with various higher-level languages and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
