Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves as a liaison between Availity’s technical teams and strategic health plan partners, ensuring alignment of products and services with customer needs.

In Short

  • Act as a point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure customer success and build long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts and manage timelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Facilitate meetings and engage with stakeholders.
  • Support re-contracting processes and pricing proposals.
  • Monitor account retention and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with accounts via various channels.
  • Establish and maintain Relationship Account Plans.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive data.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account or customer management experience.
  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer processing and IT operations.
  • Problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Jira, and Gainsight is a plus.
  • Ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • HIPAA knowledge is required.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
