EDI Implementation Analyst - Remote

Overview

The EDI Implementation Analyst will manage complex configuration changes for health plan partners, ensuring accurate claims data flow through Availity’s platform, blending technical configuration work with analytical thinking.

In Short

• Join a specialized team supporting production health plan integrations.
• Manage and execute change request tickets using JIRA.
• Analyze and validate business requirements for implementation.
• Configure receiver configurations using Availity’s internal tool EPDM.
• Coordinate with development teams for necessary code-level updates.
• Serve as a key point of contact for connectivity and data issues.
• Perform functional testing and support production releases.
• Participate in monthly and occasional minor production releases.
• Collaborate with internal teams for effective issue resolution.
• Work in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a technology and/or healthcare environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience analyzing and validating business requirements.
• Ability to balance technical execution with problem-solving.
• Understanding of HIPAA implementation guides and ANSI transaction formats.
• Knowledge of X12 transactions such as 837P, 837I, 835, etc.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to prepare documented customer requirements.
• Experience with health plans or payer systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
