Overview

The Manager Business Development role focuses on leading the Business Development function across the APAC region for Autodesk, a leader in design and make technology. This position is crucial for driving consulting-led growth and customer success.

In Short

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives in APAC.
  • Drive business development efforts and consulting pre-sales engagements.
  • Shape and scale Autodesk’s consulting-led growth agenda.
  • Develop compelling business transformation proposals aligned with Autodesk services.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Sales teams.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with customer executives.
  • Monitor industry trends and refine team strategies.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and customer-first thinking.
  • Support pre-sales readiness and successful delivery engagements.
  • Travel approximately 50% across the APAC region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting or professional services.
  • 5+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of AEC, Manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Proven success in solution selling.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Fluent in English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel.
