Overview

As Commercial Counsel at AuditBoard, you will be an integral member of AuditBoard’s expanding legal team, primarily responsible for the Western Region of the US focused on Commercial deals.

In Short

  • Review and negotiate MSAs, SaaS agreements, data privacy and/or data security terms.
  • Provide guidance on various transactions including subscription agreements and vendor agreements.
  • Shape initiatives to streamline AuditBoard’s contracting process.
  • Build partnerships with Sales, RevOps, Deal Desk, Compliance, and other departments.
  • Support special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of in-house transactional experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience negotiating SaaS agreements.
  • Understanding of full contract lifecycle.
  • Great bedside manner when working through deals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites.
  • Growth mindset and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Team mentality with flexibility to address unique issues.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing.
