Sample Coordinator - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sample Coordinator to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of samples for both product photography and marketing/styling needs.

In Short

• Full-time, on-site role at Athleta HQ in San Francisco.
• Manage the lifecycle of samples including receiving, unpacking, and distributing.
• Maintain visibility of over 5,000 samples per season.
• Collaborate with Styling, Marketing, Production, Merchandising, and Photo Studio teams.
• Lead seasonal freelance coordinators and temporary contractors.
• Continuously improve sample workflows and troubleshoot issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools like Smartsheet and AirTable.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 45 lbs.
• College degree required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Previous experience in sample coordination or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with high volume management.
• Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot challenges.
• Experience managing or delegating to temporary staff.
