Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an entry-level legal counsel with a strong focus on employment and privacy law to join the legal team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance and support in all matters related to employment and privacy law.

• Monitor legislative updates and transmit relevant updates to the team.
• Perform legal research on employment and privacy-related topics.
• Provide timely and practical legal advice on employment and privacy issues.
• Draft and review employment documentation and contracts.

• Experience in litigation is a plus.
• Experience in a multijurisdictional environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills required.

Requirements

• Master of law from an accredited law school.
• 2-3 years’ experience as an attorney.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Well-developed commercial awareness.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in litigation is a plus.
• Experience in Romanian and Bulgarian law is a plus.
