Event Management Program Manager - Remote

Overview

Arlo Solutions is in search of an Event Management Program Manager to support a DoD government customer, overseeing all aspects of event planning to ensure successful outcomes and positive attendee experiences.

In Short

• Serve as Program Manager on a DoD contract, managing a team that plans and executes approximately 3 large events plus 3 smaller events annually.
• Ensure successful execution of events and participant/client satisfaction across multiple areas.
• Build effective relationships with government personnel.
• Serve as a communications liaison for stakeholders.
• Oversee negotiations with vendors.
• Manage contract and event budgets.
• Solve complex, tactical assignments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Create project management deliverables necessary for team management.
• Manage contract risks and event risks.
• Design and execute administrative processes and tasks on the contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Experience managing large scale in-person government events.
• DoD experience.
• Experience developing marketing strategy and materials for events.
• Federal government contract program management experience.
• Experience leading teams in dynamic environments.
• Problem solving and contingency planning skills.
• Client service skills and ability to influence.
• Risk management expertise.
• Quality control and attention to detail.
