Project Manager for Compliance Initiatives - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager to lead and support compliance and certification initiatives across the organization, with a strong focus on ISO standards and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) requirements.

In Short

• Lead, plan, and coordinate all phases of compliance projects related to ISO, CMMC, NIST, and other relevant frameworks.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to support certification and audit readiness.
• Facilitate internal assessments and gap analyses to identify risks and areas of improvement.
• Partner with IT, security, HR, and operations teams to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare and maintain audit documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants as needed.
• Track project metrics and report progress regularly to leadership.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Security, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience leading compliance or certification initiatives such as ISO 27001.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and risk management principles.
• Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external certification efforts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
