Pricing Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Pricing Financial Analyst is responsible for independently managing the full lifecycle of pricing and cost analysis activities from pre-award proposal development through post-award contract execution and reporting.

• Lead the development of compliant and competitive pricing and cost volumes for federal and commercial proposals.
• Build, maintain, and validate complex cost models and pricing spreadsheets.
• Interpret solicitation instructions, RFP requirements, and evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate with capture, BD, finance, subcontracts, and PMO.
• Perform cost realism, price reasonableness, and “price-to-win” analyses.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and contract performance reports.
• Support finance with variance analysis and labor utilization reviews.
• Prepare and document Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs).
• Ensure compliance with internal pricing policy and documentation standards.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance pricing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of pricing, financial analysis, or cost volume experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DCAA, and DCMA standards.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, macros).
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing and defending cost volumes.
• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint and other pricing tools preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior analysts.
