Overview

april is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our sales team. Reporting to april’s President and Chief Operating Officer, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to april’s sales strategy and own all sales into the fintech vertical. You will have the support of our team through Marketing and Demand-Generation efforts; however, this is a full-cycle position and you will discover, qualify, build relationships, negotiate, and help onboard new clients.

In Short

  • Hunting new business: Prospect to build a robust pipeline and develop key relationships.
  • Closing new business: Develop and manage your own book of business and be compensated for your success in driving the organization’s growth.
  • Product Expertise: Become an april product expert and assist buyers through the purchasing process.
  • Strategy Development: Determine the most effective methods to open new prospects.
  • Build Relationships: Meet with customers in-person (and now remotely) to build strong relationships.
  • Diligence: Update Salesforce to document all activities on opportunities and follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience selling B2B SaaS.
  • Excellence in discovery, solution positioning, and building business cases.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing SaaS deals in the $100K - 500K range.
  • A solid understanding of how to help buyers navigate their internal purchasing processes.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to speak to the “C-Suite
