Overview

AMR has an opportunity available for an Education and Events Manager to join our growing team of Association Professionals.

In Short

  • Deliver first class customer service in line with AMR’s services delivery and client’s objectives.
  • Provide operational support for educational offerings, conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Serve as project manager for client events/educational programs.
  • Lead risk management evaluation and analysis for all client events.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of event budgets.
  • Conduct site selection processes for events.
  • Evaluate virtual/digital educational platforms.
  • Research and recommend locations for offsite meetings and events.
  • Coordinate services for events according to established goals.
  • Manage post-conference procedures and evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
  • 5 years’ experience with meeting planning and event coordination.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification is preferred.
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to travel approximately 8-10 times per year.
