Senior Manager, US Meetings Regional Lead - Remote

Overview

Amgen is seeking a collaborative and experienced Senior Manager, US Meetings to serve as the regional lead for the United States within the Global Meetings Management program, responsible for driving the execution of regional meeting strategy and overseeing operational delivery.

• Lead the US regional meetings strategy within the Global Meetings Management program.

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of up to five direct reports.
• Support technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Domestic and international travel required, 20%-30%.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of project, travel, or meetings experience.
• Master’s degree and 6 years of project, travel, or meetings experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of project, travel, or meetings experience.
• Associate degree and 10 years of project, travel, or meetings experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of project, travel, or meetings experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience directly managing people.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic meetings management.
• Strong vendor management skills and experience with regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with Cvent, Tableau, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
