Overview

Algolia is looking for a talented and dynamic VP of Sales to lead and scale our sales efforts across the EMEA region. In this critical leadership role, you will define and execute the go-to-market strategy, build a high-performing sales team, and drive exponential revenue growth. You will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, leading both direct and channel sales, and helping to shape the future of Algolia in this exciting region.

In Short

  • Oversee all sales activities across the EMEA region.
  • Lead and coach a winning team of sales managers.
  • Define and own the sales strategy for the EMEA region.
  • Establish and refine repeatable and scalable sales processes.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Lead the forecasting process for the region.
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for EMEA.
  • Partner with Marketing for account-based marketing strategies.
  • Be a key Executive persona for EMEA.
  • Collaborate with the product team for new offerings' adoption.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in enterprise software sales.
  • Deep knowledge of EMEA markets, especially France, UK&I, and DACH.
  • Strong track record in managing direct and indirect sales teams.
  • Solid understanding of the customer journey.
  • Strategic thinking and execution capability.
  • Accountable and motivating leadership style.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Must be based in the UK or France and authorized to work there.
