Senior Data Scientist – Product Analytics & Machine Learning - Remote

Overview

Algolia is seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to support the analytics efforts behind our product development. You will be responsible for product analytics across the entire lifecycle, gathering and analyzing user behavior data to create actionable recommendations that drive product decisions.

In Short

• Generate actionable product insights from user behavior data.
• Design, run, and evaluate A/B tests.
• Define and monitor core product metrics.
• Conduct user segmentation and cohort analysis.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Contribute to scalable analytics infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of analytics methodologies.
• Experience with data modeling and analytics pipeline management is a plus.

Requirements

• 1-2 days per week in a local coworking space.
• Experience in building AI products and familiarity with ML methods.
• 3+ years of experience in product analytics or applied data science.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills.
• Solid knowledge of statistics and experimentation methodologies.
• Understanding of statistical and machine learning models.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality.
