Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

Algolia is looking to add a corporate counsel with a focus on commercial transactions, privacy and AI, to our Legal and Compliance Team!

In Short

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS and AI services.
• Partner cross-functionally with global teams on commercial matters.
• Provide internal guidance on AI and privacy to revenue teams.
• Support Product, Engineering, Marketing and Security with documentation issues.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions.
• Manage outside counsel as needed.
• Contribute to shaping commercial contracting processes and policies.
• Impact the development and lifecycle of products.
• Support vendor procurement agreements.
• Work in a dynamic, tech-savvy environment.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in English and ideally one other language.
• Qualifications as an EU or UK lawyer.
• At least 4 years of experience in corporate law.
• Strong transactional experience with complex agreements.
• Expertise in privacy compliance.
• Excellent legal and business judgment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Track record of initiative and collaboration.
• Passion for partnering with Sales and closing deals.
• Attention to detail.
