Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Contracts Manager II/Associate Counsel provides overall support for multiple projects, coordinates with cross functional divisions, and supports the contracts team to accomplish departmental key objectives and goals.

• Lead negotiator and informal escalation point.
• Review and negotiate Purchase Orders for compliance and alignment.
• Handle contract activity with moderate to high risk.
• Analyze and communicate contractual guidance on RFQs/RFPs.
• Draft and negotiate teaming agreements and master subcontracts.
• Assist with drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
• Support proposal terms review and negotiation.
• Develop process documentation and training for stakeholders.
• Possess a global understanding of the business.
• Work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and JD with active law license.
• 2-5 years’ experience as a Senior Contracts Manager.
• Experience negotiating software license agreements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• General computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail in contract review.
• Knowledge of government contracting processes.
• Understanding of contract terms and conditions.
• Background in FAR and DFARS.
