Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

Enable is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial first in-house legal counsel to lead the legal function at a high-growth, global SaaS company. This role will provide proactive, strategic, and practical legal advice across all aspects of the business, from commercial contracting to corporate governance, M&A, and compliance.

In Short

• Serve as Enable’s first in-house legal counsel.
• Manage the full lifecycle of customer-facing SaaS contracts and agreements.
• Develop scalable contracting frameworks leveraging AI-enabled tools.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of sales cycles and enterprise deal processes.
• Support M&A activity, corporate structure management, and board governance.
• Collaborate with revenue leaders to negotiate strategic deals.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property and data protection compliance.
• Oversee legal aspects of equity compensation and cap table management.
• Manage outside counsel relationships for cost-effective legal support.
• Champion a tech-forward, AI-integrated legal approach.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of legal experience in B2B SaaS.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS contracting and data privacy.
• Experience in-house at a scaling tech company.
• Ability to create legal infrastructure and processes.
• Strong business acumen and risk management skills.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S., ideally in NY or CA.
