Vice President, Commercial Contracting - Remote

Overview

The Vice President, Commercial Contracting will lead and execute Aledade’s Commercial value-based care contracts with national and regional health plans as we support primary care providers shift into value-based care. The role will be focused on negotiating value-based care contracts with health plans and other purchasers for their Commercially insured members (not those covered by Medicare Advantage or Medicaid).

• Lead the evaluation of prospective payer partnerships.
• Negotiate and execute value-based care contracts for Commercial members.
• Qualify and source market growth for multi-year risk arrangements.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage the Commercial segment within the Strategic Payer Partnerships team.
• Help shape the company's strategy for value-based contracting.
• Promote a culture that aligns with Aledade and team values.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Set performance goals and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Drive the shift from fee-for-service to value-based care.

Requirements

• 15+ years experience in healthcare with health plans or provider groups.
• 7+ years experience managing and leading teams.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree or other advanced degrees preferred.
• Results-oriented with strong influencing skills.
• Proven track record in relationship management.
• Expert in business development at local and national level.
• Passionate about value-based care.
