Clinical Risk Educator - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Risk Educator is responsible for developing and delivering educational content designed to improve accurate and complete clinical documentation practices for a diverse audience.

In Short

• Conduct educational sessions for Aledade ACO member practices.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and update educational materials.
• Analyze clinical process measures and outcome data to identify knowledge gaps.
• Research and stay updated on clinical and coding guidelines.
• Serve as a resource for clinical documentation and coding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of clinical experience.
• Current medical coding certification.
• 2+ years of clinical documentation improvement experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT coding.
• Subject matter expertise on CMS HCC Risk Adjustment program.
• Comfortable presenting to groups in person and virtually.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work occasional evening hours.
• Availability for market-specific events.
