Sales Development Representative, Cybersecurity - Remote

Join our exciting sales development team at Akamai, where you will partner with our Sales organization to identify and qualify new customer opportunities in the cybersecurity sector.

In Short

• Prospecting for new business opportunities via outbound initiatives.
• Qualifying, nurturing, and developing a volume of inbound leads.
• Generating sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
• Researching contacts and generating demand through call and email campaigns.
• Developing lead qualification and prospect engagement to achieve set quotas.
• Using and maintaining our SaaS toolkit (CRM, Sales engagement platform).

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Sales/Business Development or Telemarketing.
• Prior experience in Cybersecurity.
• Interest in analyzing business needs through information gathering.
• Comfort level with online research and leveraging various software.
• Desire to work in a team and grow within the organization.
• Able to communicate in English.
