In Short

• Manage projects that improve processes and reporting for the Accounting function.
• Create accounting requirements and work with engineering partners on implementation.
• Represent the accounting team in product development conversations.
• Participate in the development of product areas touching finance.
• Perform complex analysis on financial data for reporting.
• Own financial data consumption for accurate reporting.
• Lead the development of robust system documentation.
• Work closely with other accounting teams on reporting policies.
• Prioritize system builds or fixes for financial reporting.
• Create complex ad hoc queries and reports to support teams.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting and project management.
• Proven business analysis skills with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate across organizations.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Strong data analysis skills, proficient in Excel and SQL.
• Experience with software development processes including SDLC and Agile.
• Good understanding of financial principles and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
