Senior Engineer - Site Mitigation Services - Remote

Overview

AEI Consultants is currently seeking a Professional Engineer to join our expanding Site Mitigation division. We are seeking a seasoned professional to provide project management oversight and leadership on environmental projects, design and implement subsurface investigation activities, mentor junior staff, prepare investigation reports, advocate for our clients with regulatory agencies, and support AEI’s growth in the region.

In Short

• Lead investigation and remediation projects in the Northeast Region.
• Provide project management oversight and leadership.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Prepare investigation and remediation proposals including project budgets.
• Coordinate field activities and technical report writing.
• Manage complex regulatory investigation and remediation projects.
• Requires minimal oversight and supervision.
• Must adhere to health and safety training programs.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in civil or environmental engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation.
• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations in the Northeast.
• Experience with NJDEP Site Remediation Program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience in civil/environmental design.
• Self-starter with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in a team environment.
• Ability to think critically through projects from conception to completion.
