Senior Project Manager - Building Assessment - Remote

Overview

The Senior Project Manager within AEI’s Building Assessment division will perform complex Property Condition Assessments of commercial properties, monitor construction projects, and assist with energy and ADA audits.

• Perform forensic assessments of major building systems.
• Conduct interviews and research on property maintenance history.
• Train and mentor junior Project Managers.
• Make recommendations for maintenance and costs using libraries.
• Interact with clients during site visits.
• Write clear condition and status reports.
• Monitor construction and review contractors’ requisitions.
• Manage multiple projects effectively.
• Deliver outstanding client service.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Requirements

• 8 to 12+ years of experience in forensic assessments.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Condition Assessments.
• Knowledge of construction best practices and building codes.
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or HUD guidelines.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Advanced writing and communication skills.
• Ability to travel if necessary.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to navigate various building environments.
