Overview

The Assistant Field Experience Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the practicum and field experience processes for the College of Nursing at Walden University, primarily in a remote environment.

In Short

• Assist nursing students with practicum application materials and field placements.
• Maintain student Field Experience files and applications.
• Serve as a liaison between the university and practicum agencies.
• Resolve student issues related to the practicum experience.
• Communicate policies and procedures to students and faculty.
• Advise students on Field Experience requirements.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation.
• Assist in clerical duties and training new team members.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in online distance-learning.
• Experience with graduate students preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and creatively.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
