Intern - Organizational Management, Equity and Inclusion - Remote

Overview

The ACLU seeks an Undergraduate or Graduate Intern in the Affiliate Support & Nationwide Initiatives- Organizational Management, Equity and Inclusion (OMEI) of the ACLU’s National office in Washington D.C.

In Short

• Collaborate with the OMEI team to meet affiliate staff needs.
• Design and roll out improved systems for resource communication.
• Compile and maintain resource banks for ACLU leaders.
• Develop tools and trainings based on meeting attendance and data.
• Research best practices around training and resource libraries.
• Draft project plans and support change management.
• Support convenings and learning sessions for ACLU leaders.
• Draft internal communications and presentations.
• Work part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (35 hours/week).
• Internship duration: 10 weeks full-time or 12 weeks part-time.

Requirements

• Experience with project management and resource building.
• User-focused design experience for leadership development.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ACLU's mission and values.
