Graduate Intern, Organizational Management, Equity & Inclusion Team - Remote

Overview

The ACLU seeks a Graduate Intern in the Affiliate Support and Nationwide Initiatives Department's (ASNI) Organizational Management, Equity & Inclusion (OMEI) Team of the National ACLU Office in New York. This is a remote position.

In Short

• Collaborate with the OMEI team to meet affiliate staff needs.
• Contribute to EDIB initiatives on a nationwide scale.
• Create and manage resources for effective communication.
• Assist in coordinating learning calls and webinars.
• Draft internal communications and presentations.
• Attend meetings and document key learnings.
• Analyze data and report on programming effectiveness.
• Support survey data collection and analysis.
• Engage in strategic discussions on equity and inclusion.
• Work collaboratively towards resolving obstacles.

Requirements

• Graduate student in a related field.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Interest in organizational management and equity.
• Experience with project management.
• Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
• Experience in administrative tasks, preferably in a nonprofit.
• Commitment to civil liberties and social justice.
