Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Thought Leader Engagement Manager to develop and execute strategies that enhance engagement with key opinion leaders in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly focusing on rare diseases.

In Short

• Lead engagement with national and regional KOLs.
• Collaborate with various departments to drive brand performance.
• Develop and execute peer to peer education strategies.
• Plan and execute presence at HCP congresses and scientific meetings.
• Generate insights through market research and analytics.
• Manage the regional thought leader engagement promotions budget.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Legal Review processes.
• Deliver presentations to internal groups as needed.
• Approximately 60% local/regional travel required.
• Field-based role with proximity to major airports necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in rare disease and pediatric neurology preferred.
• Strong scientific and clinical acumen.
• Excellent planning and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Recent product launch experience is a must.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage vendors.
