Overview

The Patient Access Manager serves as a trusted, field-based access and reimbursement expert, providing end-to-end support to healthcare providers for on-label patient access to ACADIA therapies.

In Short

• Act as a critical liaison across healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, payers, and patients.
• Educate healthcare providers on access-related requirements and processes.
• Resolve access and reimbursement issues to ensure timely patient treatment.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare provider accounts.
• Conduct in-services on coverage pathways and patient support services.
• Support continuity of patient access through proactive education.
• Guide offices through prior authorizations and appeals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve customer experience.
• Adapt to changes in the healthcare environment and regulations.
• Travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in life sciences preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or market access.
• Deep expertise in access and reimbursement strategies.
• Medicare expertise preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets.
• Understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with provider offices or patient assistance programs preferred.
• Ability to travel frequently.
