Patient Access Manager - Remote

Overview

The Patient Access Manager will assist the Director in daily operations of all Patient Access functions and serve as the liaison between the Shared Service Center and the facility.

In Short

• Responsible for Model AIDET guidelines in patient interactions.
• Ensure quality assurance on registrations.
• Perform patient registration functions as needed.
• Follow up on patient complaints promptly.
• Supervise and maintain employee productivity.
• Manage department operations report, FTEs, and budgets.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings and in-services.
• Assume on-call responsibilities for staffing and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in Patient Access in an acute care setting.
• Experience in a high-volume facility of at least 500 beds.
• Consideration for clinical or practice managers with at least 2 years of experience.
