Overview

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping Acadia’s presence in the neuroscience space, working closely with key national and regional patient advocacy groups and medical societies. Your mission will be to build and nurture strong, meaningful relationships that support both our current and future therapeutic areas.

In Short

  • Represent the company and act as its liaison with select Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s national and regional industry associations.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Support the execution of sponsorships and programs to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Activate initiatives that impact state-level public policies.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers and organizations.
  • Demonstrate clinically accurate product and disease state knowledge.
  • Contribute to the execution of strategic plans for patient advocacy.
  • Manage regional budgets and forecasting for advocacy activities.
  • Champion the patient and medical professional voice.
  • Monitor competitive activity and identify industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, science, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech account management.
  • 3 years of key patient advocacy leadership experience.
  • Understanding of Patient Advocacy landscape and CNS.
  • Proven skills at negotiating with regional business partners.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel independently up to 70% of the time.
